I wanted to thank you again for the support you gave to my brother, Ron and me during my mother’s stay at Golden Years. You were such a help when we visited..to begin long range plans for mom’s care. The time you spent with us explaining things and giving us questions to ask was so helpful. You helped dispel the anguish we felt about making these plans. When mom was finally placed at Golden Years, you made the transition as smooth as possible. Even near the end when arrangements were being made for hopsice, you steeped in to speed the process. I will be forever grateful that you were there with me. Golden Years was such a blessing to us. I thank God that mom’s final weeks were spent with such a loving, caring and support staff. I know my mom would echo my thinks.

On behalf of our family we would like to thank you and all of the staff at Golden Years Nursing Center for the care that you gave to our Mother. We cannot adequately express our gratitude for the kind and loving way that all of you at Golden Years helped mom during the last days of her life. We don’t know how you could possibly have done more to help her - or us. A special thanks to two of mom’s aides, Amanda and Christene, who took such a personal interest in caring for mom. Once again we thank you so much! You are all special people.

Dear Golden Years Friends, Thank you for the beautiful plant in remembrance of Bill, age 95! He loved knowing you all and always enjoyed his visits with mom because you made him feel so welcome. You all are great and we love you.
The Minelli Family
We appreciate your thoughtfulness and kindness. Also thank you for all the many years of care and concern you showed while Kathleen lived there. We will miss you all. Thank you for everything.

We have been coming to Golden years for many years to sing for the residents. It is such a joy, we enjoy each and everyone there including the caretakers. Marlene is wonderful with each resident and we can always count on her to bring as many people out to hear us and participate with us. All of the staff have been kind and courteous. If residents are treated as kindly as our group is - they are in good hands!

I work in the health field, and I have the privilege of going into several nursing facilities throughout the Ohio area. When my mother was in need of nursing care and physical therapy - my first choice was Golden Years. She has been in their care - and love - two times already! As soon as you walk in the front door, there is a warmth, a sincere caring for their residents and amongst their staff. Their staff is professional, yet they love their residents as if they are one big family. From the cleanliness of the facility to the warmth and caring of the staff - to the wonderful "home cooking" - Golden Years is truly a wonderful place!

My mother has been a resident at Golden Years going on two years. From day one, staff was very helpful. My mother is blind and had of hearing staff works with her in every way to make her feel safe. They cut her food so she able to feed herself and they change batteries so she can listen to her books. Any questions that I have they help with. The entire staff from administration, nursing aides, and housekeepers are great.
When we decided that we could no longer live on our own our family started visiting nursing homes. They toured Golden Years a couple times before suggesting the place to us. They wanted to find a place where we would be well taken care of and comfortable. Our children thought we would feel at home here. Since the day we moved into Golden Years, we've never looked back. The place is so clean, the food is really good and the staff treat us like family. We love it here and would recommend Golden Years to anyone looking.
The staff here are wonderful. They work hard to make this place a comfortable and safe place to be. My husband was here and he liked it, so I decided when I was to go to a nursing home I wanted to come here. They have jigsaw puzzles to put together, entertainers who come in to sing and seniors that come in to dance. Churches come in and hold services. There is always something going on. You don't have to participate if you don't want to, but it's here if you want something to do. You can make an appointment to come in and tour if you'd like to look the place over. Remember, if you are looking for Golden Years you can find us on Old Oxford Rd in Hamilton.
We would like to thank all the workers at Golden Years Nursing Facility. You are on the front line taking care of the people we love the most. We can not be there to hug them, laugh with them, or give them a kind word. There are no words adequate to let you know, our family is forever grateful. You do all this at the risk of your own health. Please know we pray for your health and safety each day. Your courage and dedication deserve our deepest gratitude. We are blessed to have your help in this difficult time. Big "air" hugs and "thank you" from all our family to yours.
Blessings,
Thank you to everyone at Golden Years for the letters from the facility and communicating so much information to all of the families. This is such a sad time but we realize that everything that is being done is to keep everyone safe. Please tell the nurses and aides and all of your staff that we appreciate them. We wish good luck and good health to all of you.
I can't say enough about Cindy at Golden Years Nursing Home. She is amazing! When I was originally calling around to talk to different nursing homes for my loved one, I never felt like there was a connection to any of them that I called until Cindy called me back, it felt different with her. She is a great person for that job because she is very caring and knowledgeable. My loved one has only been in Golden Years for just two weeks now, but he said everyone there is very nice and he is very happy. I hope when considering a nursing home for your loved one, I hope you will at least give Cindy a call, it will definitely be worth it!

I would like to tell everyone what a wonderful experience it has been for me to be a resident at Golden Years. I have been a resident here for 3 years and if you need to be in a long term care facility this is the one.
Everyone here is so nice and I have friends from the administrative staff, nursing staff, housekeeping and everywhere in between. We have a chef here too and the food is really good. I would recommend Golden Years to everyone.

I have a little information I would like to relay to anyone seeking long term care for themselves or a loved one. My wife has been a resident at Golden Years since November 2017. She resides on their memory care unit and has received exceptional care from the staff. They have a very caring attitude for not only the residents but the family members too. There is an aide and a nurse for the 12 residents that live on that unit.
Golden Years has 3 separate units, memory care, long term care and short term rehabilitation. Hospice services are also available and the hospice team is there regularly checking on their patients. Kristin in the business office is also available if you need assistance applying for Medicaid, this is done free of charge to the family. I would highly recommend Golden Years to anyone seeking placement.

To the staff at Golden Years,
Just wanted to follow up after Mom’s passing. Dad and I have spoken numerous times in the past month about how happy we were with our decision to have Mom in Golden Years. We felt that her care was very good and your staff went the extra mile to really care about her, and in the case of the PT lady, (I don’t remember her name) she prayed so dearly with her. I will never forget all of you and how you made our last days with mom as best as they could be in extremely sad circumstances. Thank you again for all you did.
I have been a resident at Golden Years since November 2021. I receive good care from ALL of my aides and nurses. Sometimes they even go above and beyond to make my day special. On Sunday evening, two of my aides, Danielle and Jessica, colored my hair for me. I have received so many compliments and I am so pleased with it. I just want to say thank you to both of them for making me smile.

I voluntarily chose to come to Golden Years in November 2022 when I knew I could no longer live alone in my home. My husband had been at Golden Years for rehab and then spent the last year of his life here receiving wonderful care from the staff and hospice. I will be eternally grateful for the love and compassion he received while he was a resident. Nine years have since passed and the care has remained top notch. The staff are unusually attentive and are aware of each resident's personal, emotional and medical needs. I have built wonderful relationships not only with the staff but other residents. I couldn't be happier than to spend the rest of my life here at Golden Years.

To all the wonderful people at Golden Years who make it run and function so well, thank you! You made Phyllis's last year and a half a comfortable, and loving place to be. She always told Mark and I how sweet and l kind everyone was to her. It made it easier knowing she was safe and well taken care of when we would go back to Florida every 6 weeks. The flowers you sent to her service were beautiful. We will be forever grateful for all that you did for her.

I live out of state, but when I needed to find a Medicaid facility for my mom, Golden Years bent over backwards to help me get coverage and transition my mom from her former placement. They helped me navigate the system, got things moving, and reassured me all along the way. Cindy, the admissions director, is so kind, responsive, and efficient. She and the rest of the staff communicate with me regularly which is a great comfort for an out of state daughter. I am truly grateful for the care my mom receives at Golden Years.
