National Long-Term Care Administrator’s Week

This week is National Long-Term Care Administrator’s Week, where we honor and celebrate the important role our Administrator has in providing leadership for delivering quality, resident-centered care and a supportive work environment. At Golden Years, we are so fortunate to have Kyra Hornsby as our wonderful Administrator!

Kyra has been our Administrator here at Golden Years for 22 years. Anyone who works in long-term care knows that longevity in your staff is a big key to success. Being an Administrator is not for the faint of heart, but Kyra has shown strength and resilience during her time with us. It's being pulled in several directions at the same time. It's physical and emotional stress, continuous education with ever-changing regulations and putting the needs of others above your own. An Administrator is not only responsible for the day-to-day business aspect but also for building a strong team.



We are thankful to have Kyra here that listens to employees' and residents' concerns and works hard to continuously provide such a great environment for everyone. This week and every week, we appreciate you for all you do!
