Wrapping up 2022
January 9, 2022
As we begin to clean up the Christmas mess and put away the decorations, it's nice to reflect on the past year here at Golden Years. We have so much to be thankful for! We have had incredible community support from multiple churches, family members and local businesses. This support means more to us than you know, and we appreciate every ounce of energy you've shown us.
In 2022, we celebrated a milestone 100th birthday for one of our long-term residents, Catherine Wolke, where the entire facility and her family joined in celebrating her. We also had the opportunity of introducing new experiences to our residents while offering favorite traditions. We enjoyed celebrating the holidays together, watching the Bengals games, eating delectable, unique food from many different food trucks, visiting on-site vendor fairs, shopping and simply enjoying each other's company in the little in-between moments.
Our wonderful Activity Department gets a well-deserved shoutout for always coming up with creative ways to keep residents engaged and entertained. Our entire team here at Golden Years has worked so hard this past year to put our residents first and provide them with the best care possible. You can see the passion and drive in our amazing caretakers with their smiling faces in everything they do.
All of us at Golden Years are moving into 2023 and hoping it's our best year yet. The past couple of years have been really hard on long-term care, and we appreciate the support that we have been given. We can't say enough about our residents, their families, our community and our staff members. We have so many wonderful volunteers, local businesses and others that help us throughout the year. We wouldn't be where we are today without all of this amazing support.
We have a lot of great things planned for 2023, and we look forward to sharing them all with you! Don't forget that every event we host at our facility is open to the entire community. Come visit us whether you have a family member here or want to volunteer your time; we'd love to meet you. Like us on Facebook to stay updated on upcoming events, outings and more.
